Mazdutide: Anyone seen results from phase 2?

I just checked quickly, and two of the three vendors I've used before are selling it now... let's call them Supplier A and Supplier Q.

Supplier M doesn't seem to have it listed yet...

FYI only, not an endorsement, just a quick check. So, it's out there for research purposes 🙂

Innovent, the company conducting the trials, put out a press release in late July announcing their 2nd phase three trial of Maz in patients with type 2 diabetes and their plans to apply for a new drug application in China. The results look promising.

Mazdutide is like oxyntomodulin (OXM), a natural hormone in our bodies, but it's been tweaked to last much longer. This article mentions:

Oxyntomodulin (OXM) is a dual agonist that boosts energy and curbs appetite, which leads to losing weight. Since OXM doesn't last long, they've been working on longer-lasting versions like cotadutide and mazdutide.

For the real scoop, check out what the drug companies tell their investors, not just what they tell us.

I'm impressed by the effects on liver fat, along with similar weight loss compared to Tirzepatide AND fewer serious side effects. I'm curious how it stacks up against Reta.

I tried a few doses of this and it really messed with my heart. I'm going to hold off for a bit. Sema is working well right now, and I feel calm, not all revved up.

That's probably the glucagon doing its thing. Reta doesn't do that to me. I take magnesium every night, which helps my heart a lot – I don't need blood pressure meds anymore. I also have benign PVCs, and I haven't had any heart flutters on Reta.

It's wild how expensive these drugs are. I saw an article saying the active ingredient in Ozempic only costs about $5 to manufacture. I understand there's R&D and all that, but the profit margins are insane.

I've noticed a change in my cravings since starting GLP-1s. I used to binge on cheap candy, but now if I want something sweet, I want the good stuff. Like, a really nice dark chocolate. Anyone else?
