Unfortunately, you can't target fat loss. It'll happen all over as you lose weight overall. So, yeah, eventually you should see a difference there.

Everything shrank! My clothes are falling off. I went down two shoe sizes. My rings spin. Had to punch new holes in all my belts.

I've noticed shoe size changes too. I've lost about 0.2 inches on each ankle and the widest part of my foot after losing about 12 pounds over 3 months.

I'm not a doctor, but yeah, I noticed my calves and ankles slimming down. Might need new shoes soon! I've lost about 50 pounds in 8 months, bringing me to the top end of a healthy BMI. Stomach's being stubborn, probably thanks to menopause!

I think my calves are down a couple inches. I'm still muscular, though. But my wide-calf boots are too big now. Ankles never had fat, and sadly, my feet are still wide.

Yes! My calves went from 18 inches in Sept '24 to 15 inches in March of '26. But it's not just the meds.

I started strength training in Sept '24, slowly increasing intensity. Now I lift weights almost daily and added barre, HIIT, and kickboxing. My legs look amazing, including my calves.

Just wondering... Do you think the weight loss from tirzepatide won't work on your calves and ankles? Why would it be different?

I agree with LabRat_Linda

Of course! I lost it there fast, probably water retention. You can't spot-reduce fat, but you CAN tone and build muscle. Fat loss happens all over.
I think fluid retention is a bigger deal than people realize. Medications can cause this, as can diet!

Honestly, the mental shift is HUGE. I feel like myself again. The shame and worry about being overweight faded. I want to shout it from the rooftops but people judge. It's so great to get yourself back.
