Mixing BAC... how much?

I got a tiny vial of this stuff (10mg). Anyone know how big these things usually are? Debating whether to mix it with 1ml or 2ml of bac water. What do you guys usually do?

Either 1 ml or 2 ml should work fine for reconstitution. What dosage amount are you planning? Please share your results!

For sure! Been down this road before. I usually go with somewhere between 0.5mg and 2mg, and 1mg seems to be the sweet spot for me. My main question is the amount of bac water to use.

Adding to what @Checkup said, sometimes those vials have a slight vacuum. Draw air into your syringe, insert the needle into the vial, and release the air *before* adding the bac water. This helps equalize the pressure and prevents turbulence when you inject the water.

I always struggled drawing the right dose when using very little liquid. Now, I tend to add more water than necessary during reconstitution, so I can draw a larger amount on the syringe for better accuracy.

If you mix 7.5mL of bacteriostatic water into a 15mg vial, then each 0.5mL on your syringe will equal 1000mcg, and 0.05mL will be 100mcg. That said, as @FitRoad pointed out, it's hard to draw that small an amount accurately.

For 10mg I usually go with 2ml of bac water, that way you're at 5mg per ml and easy math on the doses. Some people do 1ml to keep more concentration but 2ml gives more flexibility if you're titrating up slowly.
