MJ 1 year: Life-changing!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Hormones evening out at 49 while the weight comes off is the combination that makes the full-life-change framing accurate - the metabolic normalization reaches into mood, sleep, and energy in ways that aren't captured in before/after photos. 50 lbs with minimal side effects over a year is the cleaner version of the journey. The thankfulness framing at this stage tends to be durable - people who get there without a rough side effect experience don't usually second-guess the path.

Tried every trick and also none at all, and the weight still came off regardless. Been on the second compound since spring of last year and dropped 42 pounds total in that time. 22 of those pounds came off in just the last seven months. Clearly a slow responder, though the numbers keep moving down steadily and haven't bounced back. Still roughly midway toward my end goal, currently at 12.5mg and won't move up until this dose completely stops delivering. Generally my body runs pretty inflamed, and exercise tends to worsen that and cause water retention, so I steer clear of even moderate workouts, though my job keeps me physically active most days and I'm naturally built muscular. Working with a dietician now too, focusing more on nutrition and swapping in healthier choices.

I could post the identical photo. Been on the second compound almost two years and lost right around 130lbs (started in the high 250s, now at 130), a good chunk of that stayed off thanks to working out and eating well, though a portion will only go away with a surgical option.
