MJ miracle or hard work?

Okay, so I started my journey last June at 233 lbs (16 st 9). I completely overhauled my diet to focus on whole foods and high protein, and I started hitting the weights about three times a week for 30-45 minutes. I never went above 5 mg weekly. When I decided to stop in January, I stepped down to 2.5 mg for a couple of weeks, then 1.7 mg for a single week before stopping completely. Now I'm at 188 lbs (13 st 6), and I feel great. My goal now is to target visceral fat, build more lean muscle, and keep my weight stable. I do miss how Mounjaro made it so easy to avoid snacking. It definitely takes more conscious effort to resist now, but so far, my weight hasn't budged since stopping. Fingers crossed it stays that way! I still can't believe it's me when I look in the mirror!

It's an awesome feeling! I'm getting there too. I've been on Mounjaro for two months and I've already dropped about 35 pounds.

To answer, is the resistance training the only change you've made to your workouts? Also, do you work out at home or go to a gym? What equipment do you use? I'm thinking about adding resistance training or maybe switching from cardio, and I'm trying to figure out what would fit into my life.

Congrats! I started on tirzepatide a little over a month ago and I'm already down about ten pounds without even working out yet. I know I need to start getting active too because I'll lose so much more by working out. I started at 2.5mg and am now on 5mg. I'm feeling much healthier overall. I'm trying to cut out junk food and sweets. The inflammation in my body feels like it's decreased. I used to have constant pain in my shoulder that's pretty much gone now! Thank God for these meds!

Just MJ or anything else? TRT and HGH maybe?
Definitely no performance enhancers. Just old-fashioned hard work and consistency. I'm actually a bit flattered you'd think that, though!
