MJ miracle or hard work?

I'm curious, @New_Gang, did you notice any changes in your appetite after stopping Mounjaro? Are you finding it harder to manage your food intake?

Yes, it's definitely more challenging. The appetite suppression was a huge help while on the medication. Now, I need to be much more mindful of my food choices and portion sizes. It's more willpower than effortless now, if that makes sense.

This thread is making me think about what happens after I hit my goal weight. I saw a thread where someone said they've been on a maintenance dose for over two years. Maybe that's the long-term plan?

I read somewhere that some people stay on a low dose weekly to maintain, but others stretch out the time between doses. It's all about finding what works best for your body. I am trying to consider this plan.

The category shift is genuinely motivating in a way that the number alone is not. 'Overweight' hits different than 'obese' even when the gap between them is five pounds. That momentum tends to carry.

The diet overhaul is what separates this from luck. Hard work multiplies what the medication does - that combination is what actually lasts.

The whole foods overhaul alongside Mounjaro is what builds the lasting result - the medication gives the window, the habit makes it stick.

The hardest part of any transformation is usually the mental side - the fact that you're working on both tracks at once and being honest about the process is exactly what the long-term holding looks like.
