MJ miracle or hard work?

What's worked best for me is progressively heavier lifting in a split routine, capped off with fifteen to twenty minutes of gentle cardio, usually incline treadmill walking. Great combo for shedding weight and reshaping the body overall.

Simple advice here, only five weeks in myself and planning to stay at 2.5mg. Grab a tracking app for food intake, movement, and the scale, MyFitnessPal does the job well. Figure out a reasonable calorie target, don't undereat. Nail down a protein goal too, probably somewhere north of 70 grams. If resistance training isn't already part of the routine, find a program that fits, it's genuinely essential.

Don't treat this as some miracle fix, more like a helping hand toward the right path. Real results still need decent eating and staying active alongside it.

Everyone's situation and approach will differ, but here's what's working here. Started at 265lbs/120kg, now at 248lbs/112kg. Aiming for roughly 2lbs/1kg weekly down to 220lbs/100kg.

Eating around 2400 calories daily, 180-plus grams protein, 12,000 steps, and lifting four times a week. Building an actual routine early makes a huge difference long term.
