MOTS-c AND SLU at the same time?

I've been reading a lot about whether it's better to try MOTS-c or SLU-PP-322 first. It seems like the arguments are more about money than anything else.

My understanding is:

MOTS-c helps your mitochondria / your body's energy factory.

SLU-PP-322 helps you use more energy.

So one fixes the engine, and the other steps on the gas pedal. Both are useful, depending on what you want.

But I'm wondering if anyone knows whether it's okay to run both MOTS-c and SLU-PP-322 together?

I'm not asking about cost, just wondering if there's any overlap, interference, exhaustion, appetite issues, or other downsides.

Has anyone here run both?

I'd only use SLU orally. It dissolves in DMSO at 1mg per 0.1mL, and you shouldn't go over 5% DMSO. The remaining carrier oils can be PEG400, PG, etc. If you mix it without DMSO first, you might end up with a cloudy suspension instead of a clear solution. You'd also need a .22 micron PTFE syringe filter. Some people react badly to DMSO, so look into it before you use it.

Most people debate SS-31 or MOTS-c first, using the whole "fix the engine before supercharging it" thing. If you want to fix the engine first, SS-31 seems safer than MOTS-c. (If you're thinking about MOTS-c, read the "Epi Pen Resources" thread!)

To answer you, @SarahLovesCats-WA, I don't see much overlap between MOTS-c and SLU. You can find more info on Neemio.

Most people agree on SS-31 before MOTS-c. Oral SLU before, after, or during MOTS-c shouldn't be an issue, you can even run them all at once. Check out Vigorous Steve's mitochondrial videos on YT.

SLU and MOTS-c will both give you energy if you dose them right. MOTS-c is more obvious, but SLU is more subtle, in my experience. I haven't stacked them, but I wouldn't worry about it.

Just be careful with MOTS-c. It gave me hypoglycemia symptoms when I was also using berberine, so I had to stop the berberine or my blood sugar would crash. Some people also have allergic reactions to MOTS-c, usually at higher doses. I use 1mg daily, but most people do 5mg a couple of times a week.

Yeah, thankfully I only had mild ISRs near the end of my cycle/vial. I don't know if it was the peptide degrading or antibodies building up. I'm guessing it was the antibodies.

But the endurance I got for cardio was amazing, even better than SLU.

I'm down about 170lbs in 3 years. Was around 460, now about 290. I do about 2 miles of swimming per day, walk a mile, sauna, cold plunge, and intermittent fast. I've been on 15mg weekly of a GLP-1 for over two years now.

I also take sublingual sermorelin like @Uri_1994 mentioned, I take sermorelin about 5 nights per week to build muscle. Even at 290 I feel great. I'd like to drop another 50lbs of fat while adding muscle.

I saw someone ask about sermorelin with TRT. They don't even do the same thing! TRT replaces testosterone while sermorelin, with other peptides, can create a peptide cocktail of natural GH. But that won't replace testosterone!

feeling rough today honestly — cramped and bloated. not really backed up but could def feel better. fiber help? maybe. also been hearing collagen for skin and something about hair loss support. has anyone tried these? open to recs.

I've gone with syringes because those pens look pricey and seem like hassle to set up, even if they shave off a couple minutes per shot. If you add up the whole week - mixing, injecting - you're probably spending the same time either way. Curious if serious pen fans would argue that though.

i'm on cpap for sleep apnea too. your treated ahi of 1.3 is good but won't tell you what untreated looks like now. airway structure matters as much as weight. some people hit a floor where losing more doesn't help. might qualify you for inspire implant though if apnea sticks around.

trazodone doesn't work for everyone, but it's my thing. stack it sometimes w/ Lunesta. 30-year sleep battle—tried everything, nothing stuck. now: Beta, saffron, L-theanine, mag glyc, ashwagandha, valerian, tart juice, club soda an hour before bed. some nights i'm out, others i need the traz or Lunesta. at least i'm sleeping 6-7 hrs now instead of 7-8 in bed getting 3-4.

opposite reaction here but didn't say anything at first. went from pretty low sex drive to basically overdrive. hormone shifts from the weight loss mess with things, especially estrogen from fat cells dropping and testosterone rising from training.

been on this med a few months and some days i'm fine, other days i'm wiped out or dizzy for no reason. not the usual nausea—more low energy, weak, even when eating. anyone else get these weird ups and downs? does it level out?

MOTS-c and SLU-PP-322 both target mitochondrial pathways but through different mechanisms - MOTS-c works upstream via peptide signaling, SLU-PP-322 through ERR receptors. Stacking theoretically compounds the effect but doubles the experimental risk, with no human data on the combination.
