Mounjaro - 2 Years Later!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
The alcohol desire stopping completely by 2 years is the reward circuit quieting that some people get and others don't - it's the same mechanism as food noise reduction but applied to the drinking reflex.

This is my second round on Mounjaro. First time around I dropped 60 pounds across nearly a full year, though those same twelve months also brought two close family members passing, so it was genuinely brutal. Ended up stopping because my insurance was expiring and I wasn't keen on Marketplace coverage, figured I'd just go without for a while. Got insurance again the following year, then it took roughly six months to get approved since they wanted proof of diabetes, funny enough they'll cover metformin without blinking, go figure lol.

Anyway, main point I wanted to make, if it's possible, seriously consider staying right where you're at dosage-wise, or at minimum hold off moving to five unless the weight keeps dropping and you're worried about losing too much. Trust me on this, stopping those shots suddenly brings hunger like nothing you've felt before. Regained nearly everything within about six months, honestly shocking how fast it came back. I even told people beforehand that once the weight was gone I'd just stop eating so much and it'd stay off lol. W

If I'm reading right that Mounjaro was prescribed for diabetes, isn't this something you'd expect to stay on long term? Got prescribed Mounjaro in May once my slowly climbing A1c finally crossed into T2DM territory. Planning to stay on it indefinitely, and honestly loving how it's fixed my lifelong issue with never feeling satisfied after meals. Feels like a miracle, losing weight from that alone.
