Mounjaro: A year later!

One year with BP and A1c improvements together is the compound metabolic outcome that makes the clinical case for continuing past the weight goal - both markers moving together is more predictive of cardiovascular risk reduction than either alone.

know from other degradation tests and better labs that tirzepatide doesn't degrade much after 90 days. watch out for AFI though—they've failed blind tests. not surprising since they use the wrong machines to identify peptides. someone should put up a warning about that.

Gentle reality check: people without bad side effects don't post. If 100 people take it and 60 have no issues, you never hear from them. You only hear from the 40 who struggle. Reddit's full of side effect stories and sure, they're real. But that's adverse selection bias. Nobody's lying but the echo chamber makes it seem way more common and worse than it probably is.

My regular doc pushed me toward it and wrote the script. Had tried wegovy first for 12 months, then asked if I wanted switching. Since I'm near their headquarters and know lots of folks working there, went with the Lilly option. Got it filled same day. Between wegovy and mounjaro dropped from 340 to 200 lbs.
