Mounjaro - actually working for me!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Two decades of my life were spent convinced that my failure was a discipline problem. I tried it all, even bariatric surgery. Each loss reversed itself eventually. The shame was crushing, and the standard advice, eat less and exercise more, made me feel weak. Mounjaro came next. The scale dropped 68 kg (150 lbs), yet that wasnt what shocked me most. What shocked me most: all those years the enemy was my biology, not me. For the first time the constant food noise vanished. Eating normally, stopping at fullness, and freeing my day from food thoughts became possible. The deepest emotional blow was the harshness of my own verdict on myself over the decades. For years I blamed a flawed character, though the real issue was a disease that at last had a treatment that works.

put on weight fast through a different medication, which felt strange given ive always run tall and lean, about 6'4. food wasnt an issue until that happened. mounjaro worked remarkably well for me, 55kg down over a year. side effects were unpleasant, but worth it. a month off now, nothing has crept back. structured meals made the biggest difference. it also gave me a glimpse of what constant food noise while carrying extra weight must feel like. people hit a point where they think screw it and go all in, knowing it hurts later because the payoff feels immediate, then guilt follows, over and over. sounds brutal, needing your body most when its least able to deliver. cruel, really. genuinely glad these drugs exist and are freeing people from decades long struggles.
