Mounjaro and Booze - Tell me your stories!

been on mots-c 1.3mg daily for five weeks and it's working great. no ss-31 before this. thinking about stacking them—will they work together or do i cycle off mots first?
 
constantly cold. started june last year, switched to wegovy in oct, back on mounjaro 4 weeks - lost 4st total. can't get warm no matter what. two jumpers, thermal, puffer jacket and still shivering.
 
WFI's probably fine but I'm adding some BA to mine for safety. Most of what we do—prepping, pinning—is risk management. Grey market, stuff we're not 100% sure about, so yeah, every precaution I can take.
 
Haven't personally noticed any distaste for alcohol unfortunately. Drinking less just because I fill up quickly these days. Did manage to quit vaping though, so counting that as a solid win.
 
Drinking's dropped noticeably for both me and my dad, and we're both alcoholics. Can have one drink every few weeks now and barely crave anything past a beer or two.
 
Comes down to slowed stomach emptying caused by this medication, combined with the low blood sugar and dehydration risk that both alcohol and the drug bring on their own.
 
Alcohol's fine to have on mounjaro too. Mainly affects your tolerance, so you'll probably feel the effects faster than usual. That said, if weight loss is the goal, drinking will work against that.
 
One other thing worth mentioning, this actually started back during my metformin days but carried straight over onto mounjaro. Used to drink heavily, and now that pull just isn't there like before. Still drink socially sometimes, sure, but the craving's nowhere near what it used to be.
As for addiction more broadly, I do think I'm naturally prone to it, and honestly just swapped my food and alcohol habits for a shopping habit instead. Not something I'd blame on the medication since addiction ran in my life well before mounjaro, just figured it was worth mentioning.
