Mounjaro and no gym?

I rode that same climb on Mounjaro—each bump held for 4-5 weeks then faded. What actually helped was pushing protein way up. Went from 90g to 160g daily and the cravings between meals just kind of... stopped. Same dose, totally different result. What's your protein looking like?
 
Skipped the gym entirely for the first 4 months and still kept most of my muscle by hitting 10K steps a day plus 100g protein. Bodyweight squats and pushups three times a week was enough — DEXA at month 6 showed only ~2 lb lean mass loss. Not gym-pretty but not skinny-fat either.
 
I get this concern a lot. The honest answer for me has been: yes you can lose without the gym, but you'll lose muscle along with the fat unless you protein-load really aggressively. I do bare-minimum bodyweight stuff (push-ups, squats from a chair) plus 110g protein/day and it's been enough to keep most of the muscle. Not gym levels but not embarrassing either.
 
The protein piece is underrated. Light lifting while the appetite window is working for you shifts the composition of what you lose - more fat, less muscle. Three days a week is enough to see a real difference.
