Mounjaro at 10 weeks pregnant

Hi everyone. Just found out today I'm ten weeks along in pregnancy. Had absolutely no idea beforehand and have been taking a strong dose of mounjaro this whole time. Injected last week, only learning about the pregnancy just now. Baby's around ten weeks currently. Curious if anyone's found themselves in a comparable spot, continuing this medication until ten to twelve weeks or further before finding out. Was your baby healthy? Did the pregnancy go smoothly, or did complications or loss happen? Feeling really worried right now and would genuinely appreciate hearing anyone's experience. Thank you.

Still taking mounjaro at the point I discovered I was expecting, caught it really early, just around four weeks along, but ended up with a healthy baby boy that December! He's six months now and honestly the best baby ever.

Hi! Got pregnant with what we jokingly call our ozempic baby back in 2023. Found out at four weeks in, was on the .75 dose at the time. Happy to report the baby just turned a healthy, happy two years old this past Friday!

So sorry you're going through this, please don't be so hard on yourself, you're clearly trying your best. Congrats on the pregnancy too, every woman gains weight through this journey in some form. Think building some healthy habit support going forward could genuinely help.

Honestly hard to untangle exactly how much comes from pregnancy cravings versus the effect of stopping Mounjaro so suddenly. Must be a lot to face all at once, plus any guilt around the baby on top of it. I'm sure they're growing just fine on all that good food you're giving them.

Never been pregnant myself so I'm probably not the best source of advice here. Hope you can go easy on yourself, a baby is genuinely exciting! You'll be beautiful to them regardless of any of this. And even with more weight gain before delivery, you'll still be able to get out for walks together with the stroller once the time comes.
