Mounjaro changed my life!

I was never one for activity and definitely the foodie in my family. I had enough of making excuses, and when I began, I was traveling to see relatives for a month. I promised myself this was my opportunity to "fix things." I had elevated cholesterol, was close to becoming diabetic, struggled to climb stairs, and couldn't keep pace with others while walking!

I disliked sports, any kind of exercise, but I forced myself to learn basic at-home workouts on a mat. I only went to the gym once and never returned because I felt intimidated by all the people.

So, I went to YouTube and found various at-home pilates routines, bought some weights, and dedicated myself. Sure, I have some loose skin, but I'm healthier and happier. When I went back home, I had to leave my workout equipment behind, but since my stay was longer than a month, I purchased the same items I used at home and committed to doing mat pilates 4-6 times a week with weights. I often felt foolish, constantly wondering what I was doing, and I didn't see any progress for months. But I am where I am now because I persevered! No more excuses.

I also had to learn a lot about changing my diet, adopting a Mediterranean approach, sticking to whole foods, and cutting out sugar while using alternatives.

Thank you, Mounjaro, for giving me a new outlook on life that I never thought I'd have.

Sorry for the lengthy post; I rarely do this. No AI involvement here.

It's important to remember (despite what society often tells us) that your value goes beyond your physical appearance; it's what's on the inside that truly matters. Always believe in yourself and stick with it. Encourage others who doubt themselves too.

Sei favolosa! Mediterranean diet is always the best for eating healthily. I'm Italian, and all the nutritionists, dieticians, and doctors recommend it. I follow it and have lost 21.5 kg from September 22nd until today. :D

Holy smokes, your transformation is truly remarkable, and (no flirting here) you look great! I hope the progress you've achieved with the GLP-1 has extended to other areas of your life as well.

To answer a few questions, I'm 34! And I found a lot of good beginner videos by searching "pilates for beginners" and "mat workouts no equipment". I also just looked up specific exercises when I wanted to target certain areas, like "glute bridges" or "arm workouts with dumbbells".

I'm so happy to see others succeeding with these meds! It's given me a new lease on life. I've dropped about 60 pounds since starting sema last year, and it's made such a difference in my energy levels. I can actually keep up with my grandkids now!

For those asking about starting weight and current weight, it's helpful to also include your height. Remember, BMI calculations take height into account, so what's healthy for someone who is 5'2" will be different than someone who is 5'10".

It really does feel like a miracle sometimes, doesn't it? I'm just trying to focus on maintaining now. It's a whole new challenge!
