Mounjaro did WHAT?! My 2026 goal!

I started Mounjaro back in June of '24, weighing around 270lbs. Now it's January '26 and I'm down to about 160lbs! Seriously never imagined it would work this well. I've lost around 110lbs total. I'm only about 20lbs from my final goal and I can hardly believe it. Bring on 2026!

It's so inspiring to see this! It makes me believe these goals are actually achievable. I started at almost the same weight. After about 4 months I've lost 37lbs and some days it feels like the goal is too far off but I need to remember consistency is key.

Congrats on the progress so far! Getting there! 🎉

So, correct me if I'm wrong, but you're currently about 160lbs and aiming to lose another 20lbs? And what's your height?

That's incredible! Its important not to get discouraged. I read something relevant the other day that said people often don't comment on others' weight loss right away, so don't feel bad if people aren't noticing. It is often seen as impolite to comment on someone's weight, even if it is positive.

Yes that's right! Just another 20lbs to go. I'm 5'4".

I think there's also something to be said about how noticeable weight loss is too. Somebody talked about a paper towel roll. When it's full, removing 5 sheets isn't a big deal. But when it's almost empty, removing 5 sheets makes a big difference. It's the same with weight loss!

It's so difficult to see progress in yourself day to day, but it's definitely there. I started Mounjaro in May of 2025 and when I compare pictures from then to now I can see such a difference! I see less bloating and a smaller waist now.

Started sema, plateaued after 60 lbs down. Switched to tirz and dropped another 100. Everyone's different but for me tirz crushed it on appetite and weight loss, zero side effects. Sema gave me heartburn and diarrhea after dose bumps.
