Mounjaro gave me my life back!

Wow, you look amazing! Huge congratulations! I'm curious, could you share a bit about what's been working for you? Like your day-to-day routine and diet?

Unbelievable transformation! Seriously impressive. Did you have any issues with excess skin after losing so much weight so fast?

You're such an inspiration! Thank you for sharing your success. I’ve managed to drop about 60 pounds in nearly a year, but I’ve stalled out these last few months. I think I got too relaxed about my eating habits, even though I’m still making overall better choices. I've struggled with weight my whole life and tried every diet out there, with only temporary success. Food has been my coping mechanism, and I need to get back to basics and remember that Mounjaro is a tool to help me achieve lasting health, not a quick fix. I need to address the underlying emotional reasons why I sabotage myself. Your photos are a great reminder!

That's amazing! Congrats! I'm probably close to your age, and was just a few pounds heavier when you started. Did you experience any loose skin after your significant weight loss? I'm also trying to find a way to afford these meds without insurance, which is tough. But I'm determined to lose the weight one way or another!

That's a really common concern after major weight loss. Options range from building muscle to help fill out the skin, to surgical procedures. It really depends on the individual case.

Just curious - do you have to stay on it forever or can you stop? How long have you gone without it if you have?

I've lost major amounts twice before, and each time circumstances pulled me backward. It's refreshing to meet someone who bounces back repeatedly and keeps laughing about clothing fit issues.

Only thigh injections, subq. Was using belly with the auto-injector since it's easier but got intense nausea for two days. My doc gave me Zofran but doesn't like treating side effects with more drugs as it becomes a cycle. He suggested thighs since they absorb slower. Glutes would absorb slowest but not approved for Mounjaro and hard to self-inject. That single switch to thigh spots dramatically reduced nausea.
