Almost 11 months in, down 70 pounds, and we heard the heartbeat at the 6-week checkup yesterday! So happy! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I just wanted to express my gratitude for all of your incredibly kind words. I created this account after a couple of losses. So happy to share good news. Happy holidays!

I saw this info on another thread and thought it was relevant to share:

Make sure to sign up with the pharma company's pregnancy tracking system to improve data collection on pregnancy outcomes from this medication! If that's something you're interested in it could help a lot.

Congratulations!!!! If you don't mind me asking, how long were you off the medication prior to conceiving?

I didn't even realize I was pregnant. I just kept taking it until week 5. Then I stopped when I got my positive test. I'm nervous about any possible risks, but my doctor says everything looks great so far!

I've been getting really good results with progress photos. I wish I'd started sooner. It's so hard to see the changes. Sometimes the dysmorphia is awful. I'm hoping to try to conceive next spring, so I'll be stopping soon. It's nice to have the pics to compare and see how far I've come.

Anyone else notice a reduction in hot flashes? I'm in perimenopause and have been having them a lot. I'm curious if my GLP-1 med will have any effect.

It's plausible that weight loss can release some stored estrogens, which may temporarily reduce hot flashes.
