Mounjaro Noob: A Cautionary Tale

Hong Kong Yanpep International
pecanfolder85 Im newly diagnosed as diabetic. My average glucose before starting Mounjaro ran 12 (roughly 200), after just a day my daily average BG was 135, and at 3 weeks it sits near 100. Mild lows showed up several times during my second week at 2.5mg, mostly late evening into the night. A protein snack at bedtime helped, so maybe stopping metformin and adding a snack could work for you, worth asking your doc. Even a tiny Mounjaro dose can hit some people surprisingly hard, and that amazes me.

I got a T2D diagnosis just over a month ago, and my Dr prescribed Mounjaro too. It sat in my fridge a few days while I built up courage. I picked the night before my two days off, in case of bad side effects. Shot number 4 is tomorrow and so far nothing bad.
