Woohoo! I've been taking Mounjaro for about 12 weeks. I've dropped 28.3 lbs. I was 228.8 lbs and now I'm 200.5 lbs - almost to my goal! I just shifted from "obese" to overweight. Some days I don't notice a change, so I'm so glad that I took before pics. I'm having a breast reduction done in January. It was originally set for November but got moved. I can't wait to wear clothes that fit well and start jogging again without the extra weight on my knees.

Congrats and good luck! If you're planning to continue the meds for a while, your breasts could decrease noticeably, so have that discussion with your doctor. Perhaps waiting until you're at your target weight would be best. Looking great!

I have to say - a 28 pound loss looks like quite a bit more...? I sometimes think that MJ helps with more inch loss too. Wonder how that works.

Ummm L-J-K-91 You may want to rethink the breast reduction. I started at 222 with a big chest and now I don’t even fit into a B since I’m under 120. You might regret it and want implants later!! I would absolutely wait!!!! Let your body change for a year then see what you have left. I wish I had bigger boobs now lol. If you do the reduction just accept they will probably still get smaller. If you go to a C you might end up with a B when you are done losing. It isn’t all just dense tissue!

That's a REALLY good point about waiting on the breast reduction. Definitely discuss that with your surgeon. Weight loss can significantly change things.

HeartCoffee Sure, I don't mind. I can discuss it if you like. I'm currently on the highest dose, but I've been titrating up slowly over the last few months. I'm not on a maintenance dose yet, still losing.
