Mounjaro: Two years in!

Insurance wanted proof you'd exhausted every option before approving, then moved goalposts anyway. Out of pocket meant you actually got the results you needed.

Weight training over two years has made a big difference filling in loose skin on my arms and chest. I'd say keep lifting the whole time you're on Mounjaro if you want to keep your muscle. Protein is key.

Some people on here have gone above the 15 mg limit and studies are running on higher doses. Not everyone's the same though. One thing I do is back off the dose a bit and pin every 4–5 days. I was getting suppression till day four and struggling days 5–6. Adding another compound at low dose made sides worse.

metformin won't cause lows and might help a bit with weight but keep an eye on your sugars anyway. combinations aren't really studied so be careful. none of these meds typically cause hypoglycemia on their own.

Also German here. I tried China BAC water twice with tirz and got wrecked both times—heart racing, felt sick. Now ordered saline instead. Why didn't you use that? Is NaCL or Ampuwa better for tirz recon?

226 to 161 at two years is the kind of result the two-year trial data pointed to but rarely sees in practice - the bump to 15mg at this stage usually shifts from loss to hold rather than adding another major drop, which changes what you're optimizing for.

Daily miralax in coffee with a protein shake has a lot of fans as a two-in-one routine - the daily consistent dose works better than waiting until things back up, and doctor sign-off for long-term makes it a clean solution.
