My First Mounjaro Year!

I'm F55, 5'6" and started Mounjaro around Feb 6, 2023. I'm dealing with menopause, low thyroid, and T2D, which made things tough. I weighed 220.4 lbs then, and now I'm down to 148.1 lbs – losing 72.3 lbs overall!

Fantastic work!! 🥳 You appear fabulous 🙂 I appreciate your active lifestyle. I stick to 18/6 intermittent fasting as well; it's ideal for managing my food intake.

Your legs look great 🤩!! Our stats are kinda alike (I'm slightly older and shorter) and you've really inspired me. Thanks for sharing 🩶

Well done! Congrats to you! Your progress pics are a cool way to show your results — love seeing it! 🔥

That's amazing. Great job!! You look terrific 😍

I'm starting Mounjaro today, and these posts are calming my nerves a bit (mostly about any side effects). I hope I can post something similar in a year.

Yay!! You look great. Please share updates on that strength training. I love the "Mounjaroversary" idea. Mine is coming up soon, 2/14/24. I've lost about 80 lbs at age 60 and now I need to build some muscle in my thighs and tummy. Otherwise, I'm happy with my MJ journey.

Inspirational stuff. Congratulations! Can you tell me more about how your hypothyroidism and T2D have been affected by your active lifestyle and weight loss?

I forgot to mention, I'm aiming for a healthy body fat of 23-33% for my age. I'm currently around 27%. My next goal is to add some muscle to my thighs to help with some loose skin. So, I'm lifting heavier weights now and eating even more protein.

I'm struggling with being active. Exercise just frustrates me.
Have you tried reformer Pilates? It’s a fantastic workout that keeps your heart rate in check and your breathing steady. Plus, it’s adaptable for any fitness level. I also like the focus on mind/body connection - that mindfulness helped me when I moved into more intense strength training. It keeps me engaged during the workout.

I'm also dealing with low energy lately, especially when doing my usual hour-long walks. I'm wondering if the medication is affecting my endurance?
