My jeans now fit! 🎉

SW 262, now 202 at 5'7. Just hit 10mg this week. These UK 18 jeans are actually loose on me now and I can finally rest my arms at my sides without squishing. People talk about needing huge drops fast but averaging 1.25 pounds weekly adds up quick when you stick with it.

Before semaglutide I had a closet full of clothes that were technically on, but super tight. Bought them thinking I'd fit them perfect once I dropped 5. After 50 down, turns out I needed to lose 20 before they fit right. And now they're too loose and stretched weird from me squeezing into them before.

Got all my size 16 and up pants, shorts, jeans in bags in the car for donation. Blouses and tops too. Bought one pair size 12 shorts this week for camping. Looked so tiny but fit perfect.

lost over 100 lbs with the medication but i put in real work. eat healthy, exercise consistently. it wasn't magic but i never could've done it without the pills. medication saved my life after being obese my whole life. if you need a code, i've got one: bubba25.

That moment when the old jeans close again is one of the best early milestones on this whole journey. Twenty-four pounds in two months is moving fast - make sure protein is high and you're doing some resistance work to preserve what you've built. The body dysmorphia piece is real too; your brain takes a while to catch up to the new size. I kept grabbing the wrong size off racks for months after I'd already dropped. You're doing great - the scale will keep moving if you stay consistent.

The gila monster connection is the part of GLP-1 history that makes everyone stop - exendin-4 from Heloderma venom being the basis for exenatide being the basis for the sema/tirz lineage is a chain that nobody predicted in the early research. The jeans fitting two months in is the consumer-facing end of a 40-year arc from lizard venom to the most effective obesity treatment ever developed.
