64F. Since childhood, I've been fighting weight. My pediatrician had me on weight loss pills at like, age 7. I've done it ALL... every diet, bariatric surgery, and was sugar-free for over a decade. I’d gained and lost over 110 pounds twice before starting tirzepatide. This morning? 187.1 lbs! The lowest I’ve been since my 20s!

Great job. So many of us are having similar experiences. Always great to see how these medications are changing lives for those of us who've struggled forever. Thanks for sharing your story.

I think accounts like yours illustrate that the impact of these drugs goes WAY beyond just calorie reduction. There's so much more to it for so many of us! So much for the researchers to discover to help doctors utilize the drugs effectively and early!

Wow, you're such an inspiration! My dieting started around 9 or 10. It really got ingrained in my brain at 12. Now I'm 55 (56 in Oct) and trying to get down to the 120s and hoping I can do it and stay there.

Yeah, some report a loss of muscle mass. It's great that people are losing weight and getting healthier, but strength training throughout the process is so important! Don't neglect it.

It's inspiring to see people making such amazing progress. Someone on another forum mentioned they went from obese to overweight in 200 days with diet and exercise. They even swam over 1500 laps! Consistency is key. I'm curious if anyone else here has incorporated swimming into their routine? I find it's great for low-impact cardio.
