My real weight loss experience with GLP-1s

Absolutely impressive! I sincerely congratulate you and am always amazed by such before-and-after posts like yours.

I'm excited about my journey. Today my weight went up 500 g, even though I had a large calorie deficit for two days and would have expected a decrease. That irritates me right now, because I can't eat any more, even if I wanted to. This rapid feeling of satiety with the first two injections (2.5 mg) is simply indescribable and incomprehensible to the brain.

Hey @RetaBoss659, are you working with a doctor to monitor your progress? Tracking labs can be really helpful!

I agree with @Ready. Getting regular blood work is a great idea. It will give you so much useful info about how the medicine is affecting you beyond just the weight loss numbers.

I love seeing posts like this! It’s so encouraging to see people succeeding. I'm about 3 months in and noticing the 'food noise' is way down. That constant craving is finally quieting down!

Keep it up! Some people are able to lose the weight, but the real trick is keeping it off after you stop the meds. Are you thinking about a long term strategy?

That's a really important point. Weight loss is just one part of the puzzle. Maintaining muscle mass and developing healthy eating habits are key for lasting results, even after stopping the medications.

Haven't flown since starting Oz, but I'm down from around 370 to 255 and the extra room in the seat is real. At 6 foot 4 I still can't stretch out completely, but honestly I'll take any win.

Either wrong numbers or serious disease no other path to that amount that quick. Need doctor ASAP could be something bad like growth thing or serious metabolism issue. Tell them pounds lost and speed they'll fast track all checks.

TDEE calculator estimates have a wide error margin - usually plus or minus a few hundred calories per day. Using them as a starting point is fine but treating the output as precise is where people get into trouble. The calculator gets you in the ballpark, and then you adjust based on actual results over 3-4 weeks. That's the more accurate calibration.
