My year on sema vs. Off

Not on the juice this time last year. Kicked things off in February around 193-194 lbs, and this morning I'm at 128. Eating healthier and staying active is working wonders!

Thanks for posting! Just a quick reminder about the rules. We don't allow discussions about non-FDA approved stuff or selling meds. Don't respond to DMs offering them either. Also, check out the FAQ if you're new:

Wow, congrats! You look incredible. I think I'm built pretty similar to you. How has your skin been, especially on your legs and stomach? You look like genetics play big role? Or gym? I'm about to start Wegovy and worried about loose skin.

I can relate to the under-the-bed struggle! I remember when I couldn't even reach something under there, let alone fit myself. It's the little things! Congrats!

I've been doing a lot of strength training to try and mitigate that. So far, so good, but it's definitely something I'm keeping an eye on.

Just hit my target weight after about 9 months on Ozempic. Down 77 pounds! Started with a BMI around 36, now I'm at 25. Been losing about 2 pounds weekly. Changed my focus from just getting thinner to becoming fitter and stronger before starting the medication, and I think that helped a ton.

Fantastic work on hitting your target weight Mix-Good! I find those non-scale victories are so important too. Like fitting into clothes I haven't worn in years. I actually gathered jeans in sizes 24 to 10 and hung them in my closet. It's so motivating!

was a binge drinker, now on this and i can still drink but actually stop. one beer with lunch and that's it. never felt this way in 40 years. it's honestly a miracle beyond the weight loss.
