NAD+ and Methylation: How worried?

I've jumped on the NAD+ train and I feel fantastic. I was only planning short bursts, but now I'm thinking longer term. My big worry is running out of methyl groups and causing problems. What do people do to support methylation? I'm on a basic B complex, but thinking of trying something like Lipo C (Bio Boost Plus). I've read conflicting info – some say it's no big deal, others say it's a major risk. So, I'm curious what the general feeling is around here and if anyone has stories to share.

I incorporated NAD+ into my mitochondrial support protocol. This morning, I doubled my dose from 25mg to 50mg, and the rush was quite intense! It's a shame it only lasted a minute or so.

Methylation is a serious concern with long-term NAD+ supplementation. Depletion of methyl donors can lead to various health problems. While a B-complex is a good start, individuals may need more specific supplementation. Look for supplements containing active forms of folate (5-MTHF), B12 (methylcobalamin), and betaine (trimethylglycine or TMG). Regular monitoring of homocysteine levels can also be helpful in assessing methylation status.

Thanks, WellWin, that's really helpful. I'll look into those specific forms of folate and B12. I hadn't thought about homocysteine levels, so I'll add that to my list of things to check. It's good to hear a medical perspective on this. I was starting to feel overwhelmed by the conflicting info I've seen online.

I've been digging around a bit on anti-inflammatories for joint pain. I just read a thread about BPC-157 and TB-500. Apparently a lot of people have been using them for injuries. Has anyone had any successes?
