I'm not exactly sure about my weight loss numbers. My doctor measures it monthly. After the first month on weight loss injections and a diabetes med, I was down 28 pounds. I've been taking pics monthly and these are from May 9th to today, June 28th. I'm loving the change. I've had weight issues for 10+ years and was just diagnosed with PCOS and high cortisol. These meds have been a game changer! What's your fave NSV so far?

Firstly, congrats! That's amazing! I was taking one med for 2 years and shed 130+ pounds. But insurance made me switch to another one and I took my initial injection last night. I've been on a diabetes med about 13 years. What a life, lol. I really want to keep seeing progress with this new med. I'm worried it won't work as well and had to lower the injection dose. You've given me hope 🟡! Some of my fave NSV are:

1. Facial/neck progress. Still got a ways to go but I'm getting there. I literally said this was the goal I wanted more than anything. People often shed weight in the face first but mine is stubborn. Very slow.
2. Seeing my tootsies when I drive. Lol. Also, being able to reach the pedals comfortably since I can move my seat forward without my huge gut. I'm still very top heavy with a mom apron 🤎😅.
3. Crossing my legs. I've never been able to do this, being heavy my entire life.
4. Getting rid of clothes that are too big!
5. Shedding pounds in my feet because I didn't know that was possible but now I'm down a shoe size.
6. Being more physical. I have some health issues and a bad spine but I celebrate all the wins, even gardening. I'm grateful because I could never do that 2 years ago.

I'm sure there's more but these are the things I thought of. Again, congrats OP! Wishing you continued success and hoping to see more progress here! 🥰

I really love this change for you!! I just started the weight loss injections 3 weeks ago and I want to see a change in my face/neck. It's one of my biggest insecurities along with my arms. You look great!!!

I'm curious since my doc also has me on the weight loss injections and the diabetes med. I haven’t been active lately, so I'm wondering if others are doing both. What are you eating regularly? The injections make me not want to eat but I'm afraid the diabetes med will make my blood sugar low if I don't eat enough.

You're an inspiration! I've been struggling to see the difference in myself even though I've dropped about 30 pounds. It's hard to have a good before picture. But I can see a difference in you!

Hey Trim_IRL, I'm on both too. Definitely eat protein even if you aren't hungry. A protein shake can help if you really can't stomach anything. You don't want to feel shaky from low blood sugar!

Great advice! I find that smaller, frequent meals also help. I aim for something every 2-3 hours, even if it's just a handful of nuts or a piece of fruit. It keeps the nausea at bay too.
