I prefer Easy Touch. I had some others that weren't great. The Easy Touch ones are nearly painless for me.

I think it's personal preference. I tried a different gauge once, and it hurt so bad I went back to my usual kind. I'm getting tired of poking myself so many times, so I want the least amount of pain.

I've tried others and can feel the difference. I'm sticking with what I'm using now.

Easy Touch is good. The others I got hurt and had issues with the plunger. Super annoying.

Really appreciate the recommendations. I think I'll stick with Easy Touch. I'm worried about the needles breaking, especially since I inject where I can't always see what I'm doing. I went with a shorter length because the longer ones were making my stomach itchy. Thanks again!

I chose easy touch because everyone recommends them. I got the short needles. If I inject too fast, I get air bubbles. So I just go slow.

For those of you using bacteriostatic water for your peptides, have you tried acetic acid? Studies show it prolongs the shelf life for certain peptides.

That's an interesting idea, @Claudia_Way. I'd be worried about messing up the pH balance though. Do you have to use a specific concentration of acetic acid? I'd be interested in seeing those studies, if you have them handy.

Easy way is to add the same amount of water as the total dose. Like if you needed 6000iu, add 6mL of water.

So if I add 5mL of water to 5mg of peptide, each mL contains 1,000mcg? So if I want 300mcg, I'd draw up to the '30' on an insulin syringe?

Quick question for folks who've done this before - does the final mixed vial need pH testing, or should the bac and AA mixture already be at the right level before peptide goes in?

with 4mm filters air purging pushes maybe 1/3 to 2/3 of liquid through. tests show most peptide makes it into the final vial — what stays behind is negligible. 13mm filters i'll use bac purging instead. one approach per filter size works best.
