Off the GLP-1 train soon!

That's so inspiring, thanks for sharing. I'm getting close to my goal too, and I'm curious to know how it goes for you afterwards. Sending good vibes!

I've been on mine for about 1.5 years now, down about 175lbs. I'm starting to wonder about stopping it too. I'm on a low dose (0.5mg a week) and the worst side effect has been constipation. I used to go twice a day, now I have to really focus on fiber and water to go every day.

If you're thinking about stopping, it might be a good idea to see a nutritionist and maybe even a therapist. Food noise can definitely come back when you stop taking it.

Congrats on the weight loss! I've heard some people recommend staying at your new weight for a year to help your body adjust before stopping. That way the body has a chance to make it its new set point.

I've also heard that the folks over at the communitymaintenance have some good tips for maintaining your weight after stopping the medication, even though it's a different drug, the principles are pretty similar for maintenance.

One thing I've noticed while on these meds is a loss of motivation to exercise. I'm working on eating enough protein, but I definitely feel like I'm losing muscle. Has anyone else experienced this?
