I'm 63, have type 2 diabetes, and began at 215 pounds. I currently weigh 155, and my aim is around 145! Today marks one year on 7.5mg Mounjaro!

This medication has been life-changing.

Sincere thanks to everyone for the support and guidance along the way! Wishing everyone success on their journeys!

You're looking fantastic and so happy! Lou53, could you describe what a typical day's meals look like for you? I started a month ago, similar stats and goals as you, being the same age, and am trying to figure things out. Congrats!

I had a crazy NSV today too! I flew for the first time since starting Mounjaro, and didn't need a seatbelt extender. It was a really big deal for me!
That's awesome! Flying without needing an extender is a major victory. Congrats!

I am now only 7 pounds away from my goal! I started around 340 and now I am at 167. After a year on sema I've gone from a 3xl top to a M/L. Jeans went from size 22 to a 7/8. But the best thing is that my confidence has greatly improved.

That's amazing progress! The self-worth improvement is truly the most significant!

Interesting bloodwork! I've noticed my blood pressure has been trending down too. Started at like 120/80 and now it's sitting around 115/70. Probably depends on a bunch of stuff, salt intake, how you dose, all that. I'm 67, 5'9", and somehow weigh 150, which I haven't seen in 40 years. Got a little bit of definition under the loose skin from doing pilates for the last year too. It's a whole different experience.
