One year on Oze - major wins!

Today marks a year since starting Ozempic. I've managed to shed about 68 pounds. I went from 220 to 152. I'm a 5'5" female, and I'm about 61 years young! So happy the extra weight is gone. My labs are fantastic! My blood pressure is normal, no longer pre-diabetic, and cholesterol is great. I'd like to lose another 15 pounds, but that's just a bonus at this point.

My weight loss has slowed significantly, especially after the first 7 months. But it is still slowly decreasing! I plan to stay on 1mg of Ozempic until my doctor advises otherwise. It really showed me how little food I need to maintain a healthy weight.

Totally agree it's amazing. Feeling healthier and being more active without hurting all over is fantastic. Happy and healthy!

What changes did you make with your diet? Are you going to continue taking it?

I'm trying to just eat smaller portions and focus on protein. And yes, I plan to stay on it unless the doc says otherwise. It helps so much with cravings.

That's a fantastic accomplishment! It's amazing how semaglutide can change lives. I'm curious, have you noticed improvements in your energy levels and overall well-being besides the weight loss and improved labs?

It's so encouraging to hear about these successes. I'm hoping for similar results. I've been struggling with my weight and hypertension for years. I would love to get off my blood pressure meds!

Inspiration for me as I just took my 2nd dose on Monday

Stick with it! The first few weeks can be a bit rough with side effects, but it gets better! Make sure you stay hydrated!

I'm at about 30 months on Wegovy. Started around 550, and now I'm at 190 and feeling like I have a second chance at life. Don't give up; it's a real lifestyle change!

That's incredible! What a journey! Did you incorporate exercise into your routine, and if so, when did you start?
