Hey everyone,
I can't believe it's been a full 365 days since I started on liraglutide. I'm a 29F, and I began at 325 pounds; now I'm down to 220! It's been a journey, and putting my health first was critical.
I was always a bigger gal, but after dealing with some health issues, my weight climbed. Over the past year, I've developed good habits, quieted my cravings, changed the way I eat, and, most importantly, found self-love again. There were definitely hard days. The side effects weren't always fun, and I felt like quitting sometimes. But I remembered why I started and how important my health is.
Liraglutide didn't just help with weight loss; it also helped me cut back on drinking. I wasn't an alcoholic, but I enjoyed partying, and it caught up with me. I knew I needed a change. I decided to reduce my alcohol intake significantly, and I feel great about it. I don't think everyone has to quit entirely, but moderation is key!
This has changed my life. It hasn't been simple, but it's been worth it. I'm proud of my progress and excited for others to experience this. If you think it's impossible, keep going! Let's keep each other motivated!
