One year on... wow!

The first pic was August '24, the second is from today. I really enjoy comparing them! I'm heading off the injections after being on sema for nine months, and I'm feeling great. I've dropped 65 pounds and I feel like I'm able to keep it off, which is amazing. I feel like me again!

I try to hit the gym 3-4 times a week. Mostly cardio, but I've started lifting lighter weights to tone up a bit now that I'm maintaining.

Congrats on coming off! Are you worried about regaining? An article I read (https://www.theguardian.com/society...to-original-weight-within-year-analysis-finds) said most people regain within a year.

That's why I don't plan on stopping my medication. Food cravings are a long-term issue for me. It's like someone with a thyroid issue stopping their medication. Why would they?

I'm a bit worried about coming off it eventually. I'm hoping that I can change my habits enough while on sema that I won't gain it all back.

I've heard some people are looking at using the daily pill version when they come off injections, just when the food noise gets bad.
