So, I did my first shot of Tirz today. The vial was supposed to have 10mg, but it was actually 11.4mg, which I didn't realize. I mixed it with 1ml of BAC water and then injected 0.25ml instead of 0.22ml (which is what I calculated for my dose). Will this be a problem? What should I do next?

Here's how I see it:

First, even if one vial from that batch tested at 11.4mg, your vial might be different. But let's assume yours really does have that much.

Second, you're talking about a very, very small increase. Maybe 300-400 micrograms? I doubt it'll make any difference. So, yeah, you should be good.

I'm starting Tirz next week for insulin resistance. I'm kinda nervous. My doc suggested it. I didnt even ask! A friend gave me a judgy look when I told her. Is that weird?

Carb_Story Nah, it's not weird. Some people think these meds are 'cheating' or something. Ignore them. If your doctor thinks it's right for you, that's all that matters.

I agree completely. It's a tool to manage a medical condition, just like any other medication. The 'too easy' argument is ridiculous.

It's unfortunate, but some individuals react negatively to others' weight loss journeys, especially if it involves medication. It can be a reflection of their own insecurities or a misunderstanding of the complexities of weight management and metabolic disorders like insulin resistance. Focus on your health and follow your doctor's guidance.
