Oral GLP-1 News?

Wait, isn't Rybelsus already a pill? Is this just a brand name thing, like Ozempic versus Wegovy? Seems kinda pointless for users?

Price will be the key. A 25mg daily dose will require a lot of semaglutide, but I really hope they've figured out a way to make it accessible. Fingers crossed! 🙏🙏

The info in the article is a lil' off. Rybelsus has been around for a few years, and it's a GLP-1. However, the strongest dose was only 14mg. The big question is how much the higher doses gonna cost. Rybelsus in 3, 7, and 14mg doses already is pretty pricey - over $149. But I hear they've found a way to get better absorption in the stomach with lower doses, which should be available by early 2026.

This is good news. Rybelsus could be great for keeping weight off long-term. Some people could just take it when they're really craving stuff.

THIS ISN'T THE ONLY PILL! Rybelsus has been around for ages and it's the pill form of Ozempic.

So tired of the misinformation.

Drugs like Ozempic or Wegovy can be really effective for losing weight when prescribed and monitored by a doctor, but everyone's different, and it's important to have realistic expectations. Talk about possible side effects, long-term plans, and lifestyle adjustments with your doctor to make sure it's a good fit for your health and safe.

Meh, I don't know how well these will work. I'm sticking with my current plan.... Been with them since summer of '24 and no problems, even through all the shortage BS. Down about 25 lbs and keeping it off for almost a year now.

I wondered the same thing. I'm still pretty new to all this, so it's confusing!

Yeah, I saw that. Guess I should have read the article more carefully before posting, lol.

I switched from weekly injections to the daily pill about a month ago. Honestly, I was scared I'd lose progress. I had been injecting for almost a year. So far, it's been pretty similar. I just have to be super strict about taking it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. The needle anxiety was real!

Thanks for sharing your experience! A lot of people have needle phobias, so a daily pill would be a big relief.
