I've been on Wellbutrin way before I started this med and never felt noticeable appetite suppression from either. A month plateau isn't scary — I stalled for under a month early this year then dropped 21 more lbs. Stalls happen. Check your calories, macros, water.
 
check if your policy covers that med for sleep apnea + obesity instead. zepbound has an fda indication for that combo. might be worth exploring with your doc before trying the appeals route again.
 
caremark forces me to pick up everything at cvs. mounjaro, bp meds, epilepsy meds. only diabetes supplies get delivered. have unmedicated adhd so going in person is a pain. price should drop when auth clears.
 
No, that particular oral option is a completely different small molecule medication, entirely distinct from tirzepatide. Details are available through the manufacturer's dedicated page for it.
 
No legitimate pill form of Mounjaro (tirzepatide) actually exists. What's out there instead is the oral semaglutide option sold as Wegovy, or orforglipron marketed under the name Foundayo.

Orals don't work as well as Monjauro/zepbound, and the side effects feel stronger than with injectables even though both share the same ones. I prefer injecting. Maybe orals should be the first option for new diabetics and people who want to drop 20 lbs or so. Just my opinion.
 
What you are seeing is the Wegovy pill, which is semaglutide, not tirzepatide (the Zepbound/Mounjaro drug). Reports Ive come across are glowing though! Its a reasonable first step, because moving up to an injection later is always possible should the pill fall short.
