Wow, almost a year! Time flies. I started this journey last November and weighed around 303. Now I'm down to about 238!

That's awesome! Your progress gives me hope. I've only been on this for a month but I've seen a drop of about 10 pounds, and my clothes fit a bit better. Still have about 45 to go but it feels achievable now! Plus, I'm actually sleeping through the night!

That's fantastic! It's so motivating to see your achievements. It really encourages me to keep going too. Thanks for sharing.

Sixty-five pounds is amazing! You're doing great! Wishing you all the best as you continue. You're killing it! 🥳

That's fab news on sleeping better too! I pay a fortune out of pocket. Can't find any discount cards that work, but I'll keep trying!

Time for another Ozempic update!

Current weight: ~290 lbs

Starting weight: 360 lbs

We switched insurance companies at the start of the year (from Kaiser to HealthNet). Dealing with the prior auth process at a new pharmacy AND the nationwide shortage of the 2mg pen meant I was off Ozempic completely for 2 months. Bad times!

By week 3 off the meds, the food cravings came roaring back. I worked hard at staying active but still put on 3-4 pounds. SO relieved to have the pharmacy stuff sorted, and last Sunday I finally had my first 2mg dose again (after a month on 1mg).

My goal is to reach 170, and stop taking insulin altogether. My new doctor is awesome, helping me get there. Hard to believe it's almost been a year!

It's so good to hear you got back on track after the shortage issues, round-two. I'd be so worried about stalling. Did you find it harder to lose weight after you restarted?
