Ozempic 2-year check-in!

I'm more interested in staying on the medication long-term. I've heard some people go off of it and gain the weight back.

I gained 15 pounds in 2 months when I stopped. I'm back on it now!

My spouse takes tirzepatide prescribed for blood sugar control. Insurance was a nightmare to get approved. The doctors watch her eyes twice a year to catch anything early. They saw ozempic and eye problems, so they assume this might do the same. Staying vigilant.

My wife is on tirzepatide for her diabetes and yeah, getting insurance to cover it was a whole thing. But her doctor is watching her eyes pretty closely because of all the ozempic stuff. She does eye exams twice a year now. They're being proactive about it even though they're not totally sure if tirz causes the same problems, but they're definitely monitoring.

fda should approve this for more conditions. never got coverage cause i'm insulin resistant, not diabetic, and it's only covered for diabetes. way more people need it for ir, pcos, weight loss but insurance won't cover. this barely changes anything.

Year-in on tirzepatide after switching from ozempic is a common trajectory for the people who needed more than sema could give - the tolerability difference is one of the bigger surprises when it comes up in these comparisons. Staying the course at 64 with that result is worth marking.
