I'm hoping eventually the price will drop. Honestly, what I'm saving on food makes it worth it. I used to drop $10 a day on fast food lunches, now I'm good with a shake or bar.
 
I heard the company is so big, Denmark publishes GDP numbers with and without including their profits! That's wild.
 
Don't forget the hundreds of millions they spent on R&D to even discover this and figure out how to make it cheaply. It's not just the cost of the ingredients.
 
Yeah, the delivery device isn't $5. And years of research went into this. There should be a happy medium between sky-high prices and practically free. I read some countries pay closer to $100 a month.
 
Here's another thought: instead of complaining, profit from this knowledge. I realized these GLP-1 drugs are a big deal, so a year ago when I started Mounjaro, I snagged some Eli Lilly stock. Guess what? It's up almost 50%.
 
Not surprising at all. Although, you know, they did drop a ton of cash developing the drug, probably tens of millions, maybe more. And a zillion drugs get canned before one makes it through.
 
I tried making a post about pricing and it got deleted super fast.

I just wanted to share that a friend of mine got certified to sell semaglutide. Their cost is about $120 per month, plus $30 shipping. Higher doses and Tirzepatide cost more, but I don't know the exact prices.

Just trying to add some clarity. Maybe you can't change what your provider charges, but it helps to know the baseline.

exactly! That's why drug development is so risky, but the payoff can be HUGE.
 
Hey everyone. Super tired on Ozempic lately, like I can barely stay upright some days. Started smooth but things flipped. I'm eating enough, not starving myself. Anyone else deal with this? Does it settle down or need a dose drop?
 
i've always drunk a ton of water. just thirsty that way. but on sema it's next level. drink way more than before.
