Ozempic: 50 lbs gone!

Hey everyone! I'm so excited to share that I've dropped 50 lbs in the last 9 months using Ozempic! It's been a journey, but I'm feeling so much better.

Huge congrats on your progress! I just started on a similar journey. Took my first 0.25 dose a few days ago and I've already seen a little movement on the scale. I wanted to try a different med, but insurance wanted me to start with this one first. Anyone else experiencing frequent urination? Nausea isn't too bad, and the food cravings have definitely lessened. Trying to stay hydrated. My target is to lower A1C from 8.9 to below 6.

Thanks everyone! To answer a few questions:

- Did I start losing immediately? Pretty much, yes. The first few weeks were the most dramatic.
- Special diet? I focus on protein and try to limit processed foods.
- Loss of cravings? Absolutely. That's been a game-changer.
- Social changes? I'm not drinking as much alcohol, and my sleep has improved for sure.

That's inspiring! I'm hoping to go from about 220 lbs to 170 lbs. Already lost around 10 lbs in the last three weeks! Thanks for the added motivation!

Since starting I have to pee so much on this. Nausea isn’t too bad. And as they say food noise is away. I drink lots of water. My A1C is 8.9 want to get it down to 5.9

Definitely keep an eye on the hydration. You might want to look into electrolytes if you're peeing that much!

I saw someone on Reddit mentioning they went from 256 lbs to 171 lbs… about 85 lbs lost! It definitely looked like it took years off of them. Amazing what a shift in health can do!
