Been on Ozempic for 8 months now and I’m down a full 100 pounds! From 298 to 198 feels amazing. Seeing friends and family on the same journey, some are losing slower. I think hitting the gym like 5 times a week makes a huge difference. This med is such a blessing, gotta make it count!

Wow, you look amazing! My doc suggested weightlifting over cardio while on Ozempic. It's been tough, ngl. Gained weight over Christmas and haven't shed much in 5 months (been on Ozempic for about 10). What's your workout and food routine like?

That's incredible!!!! Congrats!!

I'm hitting 2 months on Ozempic on Monday, with a loss of 36 lbs – down to 216 from 252. Just like you, I started working out hard at the gym five days a week from day one on Ozempic. Wanted to make the most of my time. I am thinking about stopping after 2 months. I've built some good workout habits and eat way healthier now. I will just keep the routine up until I get to my goal of 195 lbs

You look great!!! Amazing work. What dose are you on? I've lost about 53lbs total, but my energy's been awful with some medical stuff, needing surgery soon. I was at 2mg, but too tired to do much besides work. Hoping surgery helps! I’ve gone back down to .5mg or 1mg because 2mg wipes me out.

I'm doing a mix of HIIT and strength training. Diet-wise, I focus on protein. I also make sure I drink plenty of water to stay hydrated!

I think you're right. I need to be more consistent with working out. I'm hitting the gym 3x a week, but maybe I need to push myself more.

I'm finding it hard to do my walks now. I'm 9 weeks in. Usually, I can walk for an hour at a good pace on my treadmill with an incline. But lately, I can only do 15-minute bursts before needing a break. Does Ozempic make you more tired and less able to keep going?

It can, for some people. It's probably a mix of things like lower calorie intake and maybe some direct effects of the medication. Listen to your body and don't push too hard!
