Ozempic: Down about 25 pounds!

Hi everyone, I'm 54, have type 2 diabetes, and I'm carrying some extra weight. I started Ozempic around the beginning of October. I can really see a difference in my face and body shape. I've had the 1 mg dose for about a month. I experienced pretty much all the initial side effects, but they've mostly gone away now. If you're having a tough time, hang in there!

Thanks! It took me a while to get used to my new look. Ozempic has been a total lifesaver with my type 2 diabetes and my weight issues. Plus, I've had terrible arthritis in my knees for years. I asked my doctor for something that would help me lose weight because I really didn't want surgery. So, in October of last year, they started me on Ozempic. I'm still taking Metformin too. I hope you can start Ozempic soon!

It's amazing to see these transformations. I read about someone who lost 80 pounds through diet, then another chunk with medication. Incredible!

Has your doc mentioned any alternatives if Ozempic isn't an option right away?
