Ozempic face - is it real?

I'm just kidding about the 'Ozempic face'! How are you dealing with the amazing and obvious result of looking so hot? I'm sure it's been tough for you! 😉

Wow! You're practically the poster child for what Wegovy can do. You were pretty before, but now you're stunning!

You look incredible!! I'm so jealous! I've also been using Wegovy since January (at 2.4 for a couple weeks now), but it's been pretty slow. I've only lost about 16-18 pounds, and it seems to have stopped for the last 14 days.

Can I ask if you've done anything else besides the medication? Like exercise, track calories, etc? I'm not sure how to get past this stall and get things going again!!

You're doing fantastic. I'm on week four of Rybelsus. I’ve lost about 10 pounds but stalled this last week. I'm trying to not get too bummed out about it. My appetite is still suppressed, and I'm finally over the constant nausea. I hope the scale starts to move down again soon!

Well, of course, if you're overweight and then you lose weight, you're GOING to see physical changes in your face! Unless you want a slim face and a fat face... So YES, EVERYONE on Wegovy or Ozempic who succeeds will get the "Wegovy face" or "Ozempic face", which is TOTALLY GORGEOUS 🥰... I have it too, and I love it... GREAT JOB, MS. MODEL 👍🏽

Exactly! I love how everyone is taking the negative "Ozempic face" and making it positive.

I'm seeing more and more patients with significant weight loss on these meds. One thing I consistently recommend? Start lifting weights. It can really help with loose skin as you lose weight. Muscle helps fill in the gaps!

I've been trying to get in 30 minutes of walking most days of the week. Nothing crazy, but it seems to help!

Thanks! It's good to know even small changes can make a difference. I might need to up my walking game.

that's a good one to ask your insurance directly. pay periods or plan calendars can mess with when your year actually resets. also worth checking if the savings card terms changed—the oz card dropped from $250 to $100 back in january.

My dad's been trying to lose weight, docs prescribed him semaglutide. Month and a half in at 1mg and he says it makes him feel gross every time I see him. Should he drop dose? Stop and restart? I don't know enough to help—looking for advice here.
