Not DKA, not paralysis, not eyesight issues...

I put a new needle on my injector pen last night, then dropped it. It made a long scratch on my leg (where I jab). It bled a ton!

At least I haven't had diarrhea in public, so that's good.

Okay, so I have a funny, maybe slightly embarrassing story to make you feel better. I was traveling in Europe, driving through the countryside. A huge rainstorm hit. My stomach issues from the meds hit. Two anti-diarrheal pills deep couldn't stop it. I swerved over, with my family in the car. My mom gave me some TP, and I ran like 75 feet into a wet, flooded field to hide behind a bush to have a real bad moment while being rained on. Not my most graceful time, but the stomach evacuations are insane.

Had an accident myself today before I could reach the bathroom. Made a mess. Power outage so no lights. Pitch black. Water outage so nothing to clean up with. My son had to pour water over me, pinching his nose from the stench, while I cleaned myself.

So interesting that everyone is having issues with diarrhea; I'm dealing with constipation - so I have to take fiber supplements. If I don't get my nightly dose, my BM is skipped, and I have a really bad next day! Am I lucky?? Hahaha!

I agree with you completely — GLP-1s help curb your hunger, but they don’t block all calories. Eating really high-calorie things often can still mess up progress. Eating that fatty dish sounds good but over 1000 calories with no healthy stuff is not good.

I think people forget that meds like these work best with a balanced diet. Or you're just going backwards.

If you want help with eating well *and* GLP-1 advice, there are places that do both so you can stop guessing. We all need help to be disciplined sometimes.

Rant heard! 😂 Keep going!

I lost some hair, had short-term stomach problems, then my gallbladder had to be removed during the whole time I was on the drug 😍 and I regained all the weight after the surgery because my body couldn't process foods correctly anymore.

I poked my finger last week by mistake. It went in far! And it hurt a lot and bled a lot. Accidental needle pricks are the worst for us clumsy folks, I guess 😂

I accidentally took too much of my dose almost a month ago while on vacation. I was throwing up 🤢 into the ocean. lol

For those who've had your gallbladder removed, do you inject these meds in your stomach? I had mine out a couple of years back, and started these injectables in January. I've dropped about 30 pounds, but have never injected in the belly. I was wondering if others have done this before?

I always use belly injections after having my gallbladder out. I've been on this stuff for about a year, stopped for a month before gallbladder removal surgery in May. Started back on it recently, always injecting in the belly, changing sides each week. No issues, and no new side effects!

I'm on my 15th shot (still at the starting dose) and I've started to "feel" the injections more now.

I totally get this. I learned recently that when I pinch my skin at the injection site, there's no pain anymore. Give it a shot!
