Ozempic + Fasting: My Journey

I got a pre-diabetes diagnosis last year. I tried intermittent fasting this year, but it was a struggle only eating once daily. Recently, I started ozempic, which helped initially. Now I'm switching to munjaro and continuing my one-meal-a-day fasting. I wanted to give an update after my first post where everyone kindly answered my questions.

Wow, our weight loss stories are so similar! I also started around 330lbs.

Your progress is really noticeable in your face! That's awesome!

That's fantastic. Are you sure you're getting enough protein, fiber, and calories? It can be tough with just one meal daily. 💛

Thanks for the encouragement everyone!

I'm trying my best, it's a struggle. I was wondering what app do you use to track your weight loss progress?

I've been on these GLP-1 meds for a while now. I started with Wegovy for over a year, then switched to ZepBound since my insurance changed. I actually find ZepBound way more effective. I'm curious if anyone else has noticed a difference between the two?

That's interesting. I'm just starting Mounjaro after being on Ozempic. Hopefully, I will see a difference too. Are you experiencing any side effects?

I'm also using tirzepatide and I'm trying to make sure I get enough protein. I've been hitting the gym, too - about 3 or 4 times a week. How's everyone else handling the diet and exercise aspects?

I'm a bit worried about the long-term effects of these drugs. I heard they can potentially cause some serious problems, including cancer? Is anyone else concerned about these risks?
