Ozempic for $3?!

Stories like this make me realize how screwed up the US system is. Those patent laws let companies keep extending their grip, and we just keep shelling out the money. Even after a patent expires, it's still expensive because of shady deals and greed.

Big Pharma's weight loss game? It's like a casino on steroids. The house always wins, and they keep us coming back for more. Sad but true.

That article says semaglutide is like $200 a month here? More like over a grand, no matter who's paying, not counting any discounts at the start.

Just gonna drop this here... that's BILLIONS.

Eli Lilly had a killer 2025, with $65.2 billion in revenue (up 45% from 2024) and $20.6 billion in profit. The boost mainly came from diabetes and obesity drugs, especially Mounjaro and Zepbound, which made $36.5 billion together.

I've been thinking about trying a compounded testosterone cream. Anyone know about what a month's supply goes for? Insurance probably won't cover it.

Just be careful with compounded stuff. It's not always the same quality. Creams can vary a lot in how well they actually deliver the medication. Bloodwork helps, but it doesn't replace real testing.

I'm still stunned that one person had so much medication in their refrigerator! I guess if insurance covers it, why not stock up? I wish mine did, LOL.
