Ozempic for BED - Anyone else?

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Honestly the potential for serious side effects is what worries me most. Like mentioned, it really comes down to weighing risk against benefit. There's also some cardiovascular concerns tied to the other stimulant medication. Still, worth it if it means actually being able to function normally.

Ever considered Vyvanse? Mainly known as an ADHD medication, but a doctor prescribed it here specifically for binge eating. Genuinely worked.

Paying out of my own pocket for the prescription through an online provider, but it's genuinely helped with the binge eating. That struggle used to feel impossible to break. Completely worth getting on this.

Don't have BED myself, just familiar with it since I'm on a stimulant med for ADHD and it's referenced on all the prescribing paperwork. Just wanted OP to know it's an option worth looking into.

Worth asking about Vyvanse? Technically an ADHD drug at its core, but got prescribed off-label here for binge eating issues specifically. Actually delivered results.

This newer medication came out after the other one. The older option has been part of the routine for roughly twelve months, and side effects cleared up completely once things settled in. That said, starting fresh with no prior experience, the newer option would probably be the first choice now. Those opening months were genuinely rough.

Genuinely doubt actual branded medication is available for purchase like that anywhere, so whatever's being seen there is probably a scam rather than real product.

Regardless, agreeing with the other comment about bringing this up with a general practitioner. Using this drug class to lose a small amount isn't really what it's designed for, especially given most of that weight tends to return once stopping. Committing hard to eating well and moving more for a few months could likely achieve the same result independently. That said, for anyone genuinely overweight or obese, there's nothing wrong with using this medication to improve health. That's ultimately a call to make together with a doctor.
