Hello everyone. I'm a 58-year-old with LADA (that's like Type 1.5 diabetes). I've been using an insulin pump constantly for over a decade. My endocrinology NP suggested trying Ozempic because my insulin resistance was getting worse. It helped my blood sugar numbers almost immediately. I started the first week of December last year, and I've lost around 40 pounds as of this week. I think my face looks a little more aged, maybe more lines, but I tend to lose weight in my face first. I'm kicking myself for not taking before and after pictures of my whole body!

I see way more definition in your face now. Your cheekbones, a slimmer nose, your eyes pop more. That's a great change, seriously.

I hope I can look as good as you do! You look so healthy, and I don't see any wrinkles! I'm starting Ozempic today. Wish me luck!

It's crazy how much your body changes, isn't it? Sometimes I still reach for the biggest size when I'm shopping. It takes a while for your brain to catch up! You'll get there eventually!
