This is really one of those situations where you just have to jump in and find out for yourself. Started Ozempic at 38, I'm 40 now. Nearly 50 pounds gone, exercising regularly these days, and portions are finally under control. Still got more to lose and might switch over to Mounjaro down the road. If I regret anything about Ozempic it's not starting earlier. I was carrying a lot of extra weight and only stand five feet tall, so the change has been dramatic - I genuinely look like a different person. Before this I bounced through the yo-yo cycle over and over, nothing stuck. Constant food chatter running in my head, and given my childhood trauma, food was very much how I coped. Ozempic silenced that noise, and it turned down the volume on my other habits too, like shopping. Hoping this ends up being the right call for you as well. You deserve to be free of all this.
